Actually as best as I can tell somewhere about 1/3 of the guys that post a good bit on here see double digit turkeys get killed most years, so it really ain't gonna get many of them thinking about changing up their tactics when they hear that your brother spent his season sweltering in a tent in total silence and managed to bushwhack 4 turkeys in the process. I'm tickled for him if that made him happy but honestly that sounds more like punishment to me. That takes every single thing about turkey hunting that makes it so unique and perfect out of the equation.

The list was not really "tactics" but simply some things I have noticed about guys I have hunted with that have killed a lot of turkeys. The OP left off this "tactic" because it is NOT one of the things I have noticed that seasoned turkey hunters do. Actually quite the opposite!
