sitting in a blind with little or no calling is not turkey hunting, it's turkey shooting no matter how ya color it.
To each their own, I say. You wouldn't know he wasn't a turkey hunter by the pics he sent me last year. The fact that he sat in a blind and did not call didn't change the fact that he killed 4 & got fat on turkey nuggets.
Meanwhile, I employed a crap load of the tactics listed in the OP, ran like a freakin' billy goat all over my hilly-*ss land, calling like an SOB, and killed 1 jake. LOL I guess that makes me a better turkey hunter than him, tho.
I guarantee you -- if I came on here & made a PSA that I had found a spot with HUNDREDS of gobblers & a virtual lock on killing a bird - BUT you had to sit in a blind AND not call, my damn Inbox would get BLOWN UP.
