North40R 14 point Joined: Mar 2010 Posts: 7,978 South of 20/North of 10	I've been keeping up with you fellas on here but haven't had much time to post. Congrats on all the kills. I knew my season was going to be tough due to a shutdown we had scheduled at work. I've worked 35 (12 hour nights, 5pm to 5am) and 3 days since season opened. Our birds never really gobbled and only once this season did I hear more than one bird. The most I heard a bird gobble all season was maybe 30 times. I've talked with some local legends about this season and most of them have looked at me in awe when I tell them I killed 2 and missed another. My dad nor my son Hayden killed one. Chalk it up as a bad year! I worked too much! Was just too tired! Lol! I still love it! I honestly haven't put a tape measure on either of these birds but both looked to be solid 3 year olds. That's my grandson with me in the second pic and I fell asleep that morning listening to him tell his meme "Papa shot a turkey, Kade wants to shoot a turkey"!
