I personally find the G43 a bit too big for pocket carry. X2 I can carry my Glock 36 in my pocket but it's not practical. I consider anything larger than the Kahr and Ruger 380's too big for every day pocket carry.

I have tried them all, believe me. People complain about the pricing, but the Kimber SOLO and Boberg are the best in my opinion. I carry the SOLO in warm weather and full-size guns in winter. The Kimber SOLO has a Crimson Trace laser built in, night sights, rounded edges, and works well with a hook style pocket holster or the super fly. They are around $1000, but what is your life or the lives of your family members worth? A whole freakin hell of a lot more than that!!!!

I personally find the G43 a bit too big for pocket carry. My 43 stays in my pocket every second of every day. Dress pants, work pants, shorts, whatever. Hell I've even carried it in the side pocket of board shorts. Is it bigger than a LCP? Yes. Can it outshoot a LCP in my hands? Yes. Get what fits you man. Just remember that you are literally putting your life and the lives of those you love in your pocket. I carry a Double Tap Defense 9mm. It carries better than my wallet.

Does that DoubleTap 9 kick anywhere near as badly as their 45 does?

I haven't shot the 45 but it is not terrible with recoil. In reality you aren't going to shoot more than 2-4 rounds through it.

Is the diamondback small enough to pocket carry? Yes it is. I carry mine in my pocket without a holster ... comfortably. It's a great little gun plus I only paid like $225 for mine

Ammo to look at is Liberty, meets or exceeds FBI and penitration test. Not cheap but inline with other defensive Ammo. 9mm is rated at 2000 fps and 10mm is 2400!

I have a Kahr PM9 and i usually carry it during hot weather, but i do put it into a pocket holster. I like it!!
