My 89yo grandfather is fighting right now after having a massive stroke the other day. Been in ww2 and Korean war. Completely out right now but did squeeze my hand when I first got here. Joined the marine Corp at 15 yo. Tough old codger for sure. 
It isn't necessary to see a good tackle...you can hear it.

Yes one highlight was when he got chosen for the honor flight. He went to several marine Corp functions throughout his life after retiring.
It isn't necessary to see a good tackle...you can hear it.

I lost my grandad in march and it's the hardest thing I ever been through. Brings tears to my eyes now just thinking about it. I'll pray for you buddyou as well as him.

Man im so sorry to hear that. That pic hurts me man I spent time with my granddad like that before he passed. Your a tough guy too to stick with him like that.

I was blessed to be there for my grandfather when he drew his last breath. I miss him very much but am happy he is no longer suffering. Much respect to you and prayers for your family.

He's just a tough old marine. I've been talking to him telling him it's ok and stuff. I don't know if he can hear me or not but I keep telling him my granny who has been gone now about 20yrs is gonna be pissed when he shows up late lol. First thing I said to him was wait til you get.my age. That was our little saying to each other he'd always laugh and say oh hell I hope not you look rough. Lol never a dull moment for sure when he was around.

Died with shrapnel in his arms.
Was the toughest thing I ever went through. Still miss him.
