crenshawco, just curious but have you done much climbing in those and if so, how'd they do? I'm down to the Chippewa or the Cabela boas and would appreciate the feedback.

I primarily hunt the Talledega NF and to say it's hilly is an understatement, of course nothing like those guys that get after them at Skyline are dealing with but still pretty rough. So ankle support and stability are a necessity. Thanks.


I wear them hunting Jackson County mountains and they do fine. This is my 3rd season with them and so far they are holding up. They could use a more aggressive sole for climbing, but I get by. Now I don't need alot of ankle support, so I'm not sure if they are actually providing what you would need. Took me about 2 weeks wearing them to work to get them broke in good...they are pretty stiff at first.
