The LGBT folk are NOT fine with just being ignored.

Ignoring was the status quo from the time the pilgrims landed at Plymouth Rock until the Cultural Revolution of the 1960s. Fast forward and now they want not just approval and affirmation they want obedience, they want total indoctrination of the entire country - including everyone's children. "Gay" marriage. "Gay" adoption. Forcing themselves on the entire country - with the help of the atheist Left and Hollywood, TV, corporate America, colleges, etc.

This is about full blown culture war. And the origins are from Hell itself.

If they would have kept their perversion private there would never have been any kind of issue in this country.

No they aren't ok with it. If they were ok with being ignored they wouldn't sue because you wouldn't take their photos or bake them a cake. They would find someone else. They also wouldn't push their agenda to use whatever bathroom they wanted. They would go with whatever was in between their legs. THATS ALL they care about NOT being ignored. And you be ok with it.

I am looking at Saturday April 9 article in the (now) radical left Montgomery Advertiser. Page 3A. Article about the LGBT day promoting "Youth Advocacy Day" - an Orwellian term if there ever was one - as it is about promoting LGBT in public schools.

The folks in the article WANT LAWs passed to promote (mandatory) LGBT as "ok", "normal", "acceptable" and "good".

They want the LAW changed re sex ed to stop any negative reference to homo/lesbo behavior.

They want part of sex ed about abstinence REMOVED.

They were MEETING WITH STATE LEGISLATORS to TRY TO GET these changes - mandated by LAW.

They want sex ed to " express **acceptance** of the [LGBT]sexual identity".

They want mandatory sex ed in public schools that "AFFIRM" the LGBT "lifestyle CHOICE".

They claim "sexuality can follow a spectrum and that it can kind of change thoughout your life....and that is really affirming."


See, this isn't about "ignoring".

That is like saying you are not proud to be FOR GODLY virtue, common decency and just plain common sense. Or freedom itself.
But are proud to be in favor of perversion.

If my religion(I'm not naming a particular one) says that I shouldn't cater to homosexual clients in my business, and a governing body makes a law saying I have to, that would be a violation of the first amendment.

Your statement above proves how we are not allowed to just disagree with the homosexual agenda, but are trying to be forced to accept it and abide by it. If they didn't want us to accept it, they could just go to another freakin company that will make them a cake. There are plenty out there, find one.

And their Orwellian definition of "tolerance" is total submission of the entire nation to every aspect of their agenda: total acceptance, affirmation, indoctrination, special laws, rights and privileges, exaltation, elimination of freedom of religion (read Christianity),etc.

I love living in the Conservative South. Sadly, we will resemble Massachusetts in a few more decades. If you look at where the cradle of Freedom started in our country (New England), it has turned into the most restrictive and Liberal part of our country.

Where and when has a gay person ever infringed on any right or liberty of yours?

That has nothing to do with anything. You don't have to have something happen to you in order to stand up for your's and other people's rights.

You are a professing libertarian but it seems you are only for liberty and freedom for people you agree with.

When some gay person infringes on your right to life, liberty or property, you let me know. I'll go right to them and give them a stern talking to..............on your behalf.

I left it because I am a full time professional, full time graduate student and I volunteer for causes I believe in. Posting on the internets takes second place to real life.

Why in the world do my rights have to be infringed upon in order for me to stand up for them....? It's like saying not every black person could be for the Civil Rights Movement unless their rights were directly infringed upon, or no one could be against Hitler unless their rights were infringed upon.
