My grandson has been wearing the bass out every evening between 6 and dark so I thought it was time for me to try um. I went out of the boat house at straight up 6 oclock, didn'td even crank the motor just started fishing caught 4 keepers by 6:15, hooked another pretty good one, a spot, don't even know what he was doing up in the slew. I lifted him into the boat, reached and got him by the back laid the rod down(line slack) and that sog slipped through my hand and one of the treble hooks went to the bend, in the palm of my hand. I cut the line loose and came back accross the slew and was in the house at 6:30.
I lifted some numbsit when my wife was in the hospital last year for just such an occasion. Put a little on and couldn't pull it back out so my wife split it with a razor blade and out she came.
Dammit man, first time I have done that in at least 50 years.
