You need to check the barrell and make sure the wad cleared if you haven't already done so. Likely it lodged in there and if you shoot another one with the was stuck, it will blow the barrell up. Seen it happen duck hunting.

Seen it happen duck hunting. I should have thought about this; I "checked" the barrel by firing another LongBeard, which cleared it out... It could've been ugly, tho...

If I wanna load by-myself I have to sneak out there and do it they love helping me load and if I turned em loose they could probably do it better than most men, amazing how little ones pick up details.

2:53PM 4/7/2016 Update: A lady from customer service @ Winchester just called me. They want the spent hull & the rest of the rounds from the box sent back to them so their engineers can inspect. She's sending me a return shipping label, and as soon as they get my shipment, they'll send me money to replace the box of shells.
So ... now I gotta go get that spent shell out of the woods...

So ... now I gotta go get that spent shell out of the woods... I can't stand leaving Yelp marks in the woods. I always pick the feathers up and cover up any blood that may be there as well. I've been known to relocate feathers to where I want to tell folks the bird was killed as well.
