I don't hear them often, usually when I roost them Im hunting and hear them fly up. On occasion one might let out a gobble.
This has been my experience on my land, BUT -- on other properties I've hunted before, you can roost 'em more easily. Just all depends on what the birds like to do on your land, I guess.
