I've heard about before but I found an article on it the other day and thought it was pretty neat
http://virginiahuntingblog.blogspot.com/2015/04/turkey-jewels.html?m=1This is the little pile of rocks I got from a 2 year old gobbler the other day.

It only takes about 2 minutes to get them. Just grab the gizzard out and cut it open and swish it around in a mixing bowl a few times.
So far two turkeys has filled up the bottom of a quart Mason jar. I hope I get to kill a couple of older birds that stay around the creek a lot and get some pretty polished creek rocks out of them.
