So I put out a new browning trail cam with a new sd card. Had initially put in a used sd card that came from an ebay trail cam but decided it would be best to put a new one instead of the old as I didn't know what was on the card. 2 weeks later I pull the card and start to read it and it has my picture that it snapped when I first put out as well as my photo as I approached to pull the card. But guess what is between those first and last photos of me? Some Joe I don't have any idea who is along with all kind of deer pictures. It gets even odder. The location is not mine and there is a corn feeder there. Also the logo on the bottom of the photos say " Moultrie" and the dates are from a time a month I put the cam out. The pictures with me as I came and went from the cam have the Browning logo at the bottom. This also rules out the possibility of someone swapping SD cards and how do you account for the photos that are from a total different location ? Blows my mind ! Anyone have an answer ?

I had something similar happen too. I pulled a card that I had just bought, fresh out the pack and put in one of my cuddebacks. Got home on the computer, and it had pics of me walking in front of camera and a couple of turkey pics, then there were like 8 pics of some bald headed old man sitting at a kitchen table and the camera was taking pics, then he moved to the counter top, still snapping pics. Then it picks back up with wildlife pics. The really strange part of this is there was padlock on my camera, so I know he didnt take it home, play with it and bring it back.

Did you select "Erase All" after you put the card in the camera?

I have 2 Moultrie cams and 2 browning strike force cameras. I bought 4 new cards at Walmart 4gb. Put them in my cameras.i waited 2 weeks to check them ,I had 160 pictures of deer on 1 of my browning cameras.but the other 3 were saying card full. So I had this happen with another camera that got stolen, during hunting season.so I can take the card out of the camera,s blow into the slot and wash the card under water and dry it on my shirt. Then put the card back in the cameras and they start back working right. But it happens every time. I have took so many cameras back it ain't funny.but I do really like the browning camera,s they take clear picture,s and got good trigger speed. I'm gonna pull them out of the woods in 2 weeks and put them up until july.plus I'm gonna take the battery,s out and cards.that might be some of the problem, battery corrosion from moisture.

I did not select Erase All. I figure that's the problem. Somehow the camera kept data from that old SD card and transfered it to the new one. Thanks for all the help.

just old data on the cards. A quick (erase) format doesn't always remove them, and even if it does they're generally recoverable with some software and know-how.
