i CARRY my Sig locked and loaded. I have the same concern as you. What I do to over come it is with the correct holster. I find one that fits the gun and has a pouch over the slide for extra mag. Then I look at the thumb strap I want that strap to fit tightly between the hammer (cocked) and the firing pin area. This way even of the hammer drops it will pinch the strap. I also want a hoster that covers the trigger. That sounds like good protection. I just wouldn't be comfortable with one in a regular pocket holster. I would love that little single action 9mm if they would add a grip safety and give it a decent 3-4 lb trigger. I would likely carry it in a IWB holster but it would make a good carry gun.
