No chit. It don't matter what location you go they all give you the chits. Don't be surprised if you order snapper and you get tilapia. Hands down worst seafood!

Amazing.

All we ever use is olive oil and coconut oil, if we eat anything fried in canola (read up on what that actually is) or peanut oil it makes us sick.

If you got talapia instead of snapper you should have showed it to the manager, I guarantee you wouldn't have paid for your meal and you would have got the correct one PDQ if you were at the Fish Market downtown.

Vulk, when the BP oil spill happened, they went to using tilapia instead of snapper and I could be mistaken on this but if you want snapper now on your platter, they upcharge you by a few bucks, or at least thats the way it was. George is still making money off of tilapia smile

I ate at the one on 280 tonight. Maryland Crab cakes and oyster stew were awesome. They also have some of the best hush puppies you will ever eat.
And I think they have the best fried shrimp in town.

We eat at the one on 280 a bit and we've never had a bad experience there with either the food or service. Is it the best seafood in town? Nope. Seafood is hit or miss for me. Some times it's great and other times it's just OK.

The best bang for the buck right now in Bham for a decent seafood meal is probably the Cajun Seafood place on Rocky Ridge Rd. A little more expensive than Fish Market, but the food is better.

Those who it makes sick, ya'll might have an allergy or something. Never once had bad food there, or a bad reaction to it.

Now Loyds on 280, I can't finish the meal without the trots.

Stop going to Lloyds a few years ago. There used to be an older guy doing most of the cooking. Was great fried chicken, cole slaw, salads. You could see who was cooking as you entered. Use to have best fried chicken. Mostly retired folks eating place. Never got sick, but hadn't eat there in two years. Prices went way up and food quality went way down. Everything down 280 pretty much went downhill. Those places that cost $100 for couple I couldn't tell you about that is overpriced for my budget.

Lloyds is ok,i still like the fried chicken. It is always more than I can eat and their onion rings are really good.It will definitely send you to the throne quickly...(I mean, sweating bullets, hope there's a stall open bullets.)We like Costas alot the menu is as broad as any restaurant I know,we go to the one in Trussville. The service isn't the best but the food is always spot on.
