Man nobody can argue that Trump is getting prettymuch 100% of the vote from Bubbas and Good'ns.......lots of them from folks that normally don't even vote or follow politics. That's fine. Doesn't mean you're stupid if you vote for Trump. He's my second choice but I think lots of folks that have educated themselves a little more about politics have been seeing that Cruz actually does prettymuch everything Trump says he's gonna do and has been for a while. If I'm an elitist for following politics a little and praying for Ted Cruz for president before he even announced he was running then so be it.

Atoler and 300ruger apparently think of you are blue collar, you are not smart or informed. If that isn't elitist, it sounds like the Democratic Party line.

I've been reading on Aldeer for years that we need to take up arms and clean up the government. Well people it's happening! People can either vote them out or pick up arms and start a revolution! This seems to be the more civilized version so get behind the movement or sit on your ass and do nothing! But don't claim that you were part of the Revolution to your grandchildren when they are studying about the Revolution that saved our country! Tell them that you were afraid and just couldn't bring yourself to do it. You've got to realize that this is our way of throwing a molotov cocktail through the White House window in rebellion of what the politicians have been doing to us for years!

Trump is selling. If you're not buying, he hasn't gotten to you yet. He's gathering the low hanging fruit right now. I'm shocked at how few here have not figured this out yet. You can't possibly believe that he made billions slinging this crap, can you? He's pulling the low info crowd now, and will start selling to the rest of us after he's got his delegates. Did ya'll forget what the "masses" elected the last two terms? This guy is a marketing genius and a force of nature. He gets it. He knows what people buy. "The low info crowd" I gotta ask, does that make you feel empowered somehow? I hear liberals use that sort of talk, and they refer to themselves as "intellectuals", as if promoting homosexuality and socialism somehow increased their IQ. It's an insult, and not a very well thought out one either. I think you might consider that you might need one of the low hanging fruit types to give you a job one day. Vulk, you're totally backwards about this. The "low info crowd" are the ones voting for Trump. They aren't unlike the "low info crowd" on the liberal side that voted for Obama. Be honest, we got Obama for ONE reason--he's black. There were 35% first time voters in both of his elections, surveys showed nearly all of them were black. I am not making a racist statement against blacks, I'm making a comparison to this election cycle. We are seeing that same kind of hollow fandom in this cycle, it's like the Pied Piper really. And it's a distinct demographic who's chasing after Trump. I think your Facebook feed is a looking glass into human nature, so I'll use my FB page to illustrate the point... If I have a friend on FB who is very well spoken, highly educated (but not in the liberal indoctrination kind of way), a professional business owner, etc, he or she is against Trump. (Think white collar type of folks) Conversely, if I have a FB friend who is a "roughneck", the kind who posts pictures "Share this cross if you love Jesus", is a grease-monkey in a shop, goes home after work and plays X-box, uses profanity because he doesn't have a strong enough vocabulary to make his point otherwise, likes Nascar, then that person has a first-rate hard on for Trump. And I'm not exaggerating that description, that's honestly what I see. Most of those people have never spoke a word about politics before. But suddenly now they are experts: they hate Mexicans, hate the establishment, and they post every Trump meme that comes on Facebook. Now look, I have never stepped foot in college, I am not "highly educated" in the academic sense. In fact, I am an outspoken critic about the Devil's schoolyard (American colleges). But I agree with being smart! Prager University (a conservative website) did a study and showed a distinct difference between those voting for Trump and those voting for other candidates. The least educated and lowest earners were voting for Trump. Not because they believed his platforms would change their lives, but because they connected with him.

One small thing you guy's are missing is that the term low information voter does not mean you are stupid, or dumb it just means a person that does not keep up with politics as a rule.
The end of democracy and the defeat of the American revolution will occur when government falls into the hands of lending institutions and moneyed incorporation's Thomas Jefferson. 1812

God created me with a mind to think and discern. God created me with convictions and a desire to worship and serve Him. With these things He has given me, I will be the first to admit that I have not used them many times in a manner that is worshipful or pleasing to Him. Even so, when I repent for my sinful actions, I know He will forgive me. Why do I have such faith? Because His Word tells me that God cannot lie and that his Word is truth.
God has graciously allowed me to live in a country that was founded on Judeo/Christian values. He gifted our founding fathers with great insight and foresight when they drafted and approved the Constitution of the United States of America. Men and women have fought for and died so that I might enjoy the freedoms granted by our Constitution and Bill of Rights.
Unfortunately, our country has not only strayed from our Constitution and Bill of Rights, but more importantly, we have strayed from God and the Judeo/Christian values that made the United States of America the greatest nation on earth. Time and time again, we read in the Bible that when Israel strayed from God, judgment came upon that nation. Many times, their downfall was due to prosperity, pride, envy and the lust for what other nations had to offer. We as a nation have done the same exact thing, and we're still a very young nation. We are beginning to reap what we have sown. There was always a way for Israel to return to God, repent. I will not quote it here as many of you know it, but that is exactly what II Chronicles 7:14 tells us.
In Psalm 118:8, what is considered the middle verse in the Bible, it says, "It is better to take refuge in the Lord, than to trust in man." It is followed by verse 9 which says, "It is better to take refuge in the Lord, than to trust in princes." We should not put our faith in Donald Trump, Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio, Hillary Clinton, or Bernie Sanders to be the savior of the USA. God is our Savior. As citizens of this great country, we have the right to vote for our national leaders (we have to remember that a President cannot do anything on his/her own; there's a Congress behind them that we Americans also place in office). And to that, we need to remember what Paul wrote to the Romans in Romans 13:1, "Every person is to be in subjection to the governing authorities. For there is NO authority except from God, and those which exist are ESTABLISHED by God." We are allowed to vote, and I believe one must vote his/her convictions. God granted us with those convictions and as I stated in my opening paragraph, He gave us minds to think and be discerning with. A vote is a vote for the person voted for. It in no way is a vote for the opponent as Straycat has alluded to in a couple of different posts in these political threads.
I am what I would consider a Constitutional conservative. That does not mean I am a Republican and it doesn't mean I'm a Democrat. To me, it does mean that I will vote for the people who most impress me that they believe in and will enforce the Constitution of the USA; those whom I believe would be willing to give their lives for this great country. Does that person necessarily have to be a Christian? My answer is no. It's definitely gravy if they are a follower of God. But just because one is or claims to be a Christian does that make him/her a great leader and presidential or congressional material. We've had many that call themselves Christians in these positions of leadership, and they have failed miserably both at leading the country and convincing us of their Christian faith. I want someone as POTUS, who loves our country, loves our Constitution, and will lead with the character and integrity that proves so.
Just by the numbers that are voting for Hillary, Bernie, and other moderates and liberals, I know I'm probably part of a minority of Americans (or either they are a very quiet bunch). Our country grows more liberal with each passing day and becomes more driven toward socialism with each passing day. Yes, this concerns me. I will always do my duty as a citizen of this great country and VOTE. I do not sit at home and whine about who is chosen as the nominee for either party. I will VOTE and I will vote based on my convictions and my God given discernment. Up until it is time to VOTE for POTUS, I will pray for greater discernment and that God will put in place the leader that will begin the charge to make the USA a great nation again. If it be His will to put a leader in office that will take us further into His judgment upon our nation, then I will trust Him. That's what His Word tells me to do and I want to be more obedient and faithful. I haven't done such a good job in the past, but today is a new day.
With that said, I'm not going to throw degrading words out about Donald Trump, Hillary Clinton, Bernie Sanders, Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio, John Kascich, etc. I will weigh the presented evidence, continue to listen to each candidate, and do a lot of praying. I will vote and I will trust my Lord. He is the One I will one day bow down to and say,"Jesus is Lord." And my hearts desire is to hear Him say, "Well done my good and faithful servant." That's what truly matters.

Those founding fathers killed in the name of the American Revolution. This is just a vote. It's ok.

I really think the fact is that Donald Trump will be the Republican nominee for president. Trump is on a roll and I don't see anything stopping him. The choice ya'll anti Trump voters will have to make is which line ya'll are going to be in. Nut cutting time is near:
Donald Trump (X)
Hilary Clinton ( )
Trump will go after Hitlary with both barrels, she might start crying and stomp off the stage in their debates. Unlike Romney vs O'Bama, Trump will take the gloves off.

Even though Hilary will win the Dems, Bernie has already shown how to beat her. Trump will just double down on that and bring out his magic tricks which clearly seem to work.

I agree. Trump is the very best chance we have to beat Hillary.

The most current poll shows that Trump gets crushed by Clinton. I hope if he wins the nomination he can rally the 60-70% of voters that vote against him in every state.

ikillbux if you take what you said to the highest common denominator, you would also see that the poorest states also vote R in the elections. Dont know why that is though. Just throwing it out there.

Trump is beating Hillary in all the swing states and that is all that matters. Where some of y'all not alive in 2000? The general vote means nothing. Just for the sake of argument though go look at where Reagan was polling against Carter in March of 1980. He was getting around 30% of the general vote.

I would not trust the Clinton/Trump polls (ie propaganda) at all.
The media and the establishment (both parties) are scared to death now of Trump and will lie, cheat, and kill to try to prevent him from getting the nomination.

Darnit man, first thing in the morning and I find out I am "low hanging fruit". I think some of you guys have formed some pretty strong opinions on some really limited data sets. I personally wouldn't place much weight on a survey of a few local acquaintances in forming an opinion on who will or will not support Trump. For the last 35 years I have made a pretty decent living providing my clients with nothing more than an opinion, albeit one backed by a lot of research and a detailed analysis of the findings of the research. Must be pretty good at it because in that 35 year career my work has never been beat by the other side. Have split a few times but ya can't do anything about stoopid juries. I also have clients and acquaintances who are a lot smarter and certainly more successful than about 99% of the internet warriors here on Aldeer. Like me, many of them are quite pleased with the Donald.
I like a lot about Cruze and would very happily vote for him on most issues. However, every time I see him I just get a bad feeling about him. Can't tell you exactly what it is but I just get a feeling of wrongness. It is also telling to me that the Establishment Repubs do not seem nearly as terrified of Cruz as they do of the Donald.
Anyway if it makes you Cruzies feel better about yourself and your candidate please continue to characterize Trump supporters as ignorant losers.

. I agree. Hearing guys talk about what Cruze will do sounds good. When I watch him on tv he sounds just like another politician. The more I hear trump the more I like him.

Hey guys..PLEASE dont talk about how intelligent you are when throwing out adjectives like Cruzies and Trumpkins. It defeats your whole argument to me, and makes you look some what sopomoric and moronic...all at the same time! Some of you guys really are sounding like liberals with your anti trump BS EVERYDAY, non stop. I solve problems in my life..in business, etc. We have a big one in our Govt right now. Many of you are drinking the establishment and media KOOL AID they are all putting out about Trump. I wanted Cruz but guess what..he is not going to make it short of a miracle. Trump is winning clearly. Ill take him over Hillary..as the PLAN is to beat the dems...NOT EACH OTHER. Unless you have another plan that WILL work..it looks like Trump is the choice to accomplish the MISSION and defeat the dems. Or..you could all just write in your favorite candidate that has lost..in other words ...your favorite LOSER. Nice plan!
