Had one for 10 years got the wood stock, great shooter. Also have a Sweede Mauser in 6.5x55, load for both you will like the caliber

6.5 w/ 120s work great on German Reh and equally well on Southern WT! Killed a bunch with my Win Mdl 70 w/ the Speer 120 HC. None went more than 30 yds, and that one was a broadside pass thru, no bones/ribs hit. Now using the 140 Spper HC in case I run into a hog, and also because I shoot a Mauser 6.5.

I had a 6.5x55 for years. Took several deer and my first pronghorn with one. Excellent round!
