Fellas! Let's take home the win this year! Where will y'all be hunting and what are some team name ideas??

I'll be hunting a few places around Birmingham, maybe once in Barbour County, and maybe once in Monroeville. If any of y'all are located around Bham and want a partner, let me know.

Name ideas:
Rock the roost
3 toe Joes
#4 Facial

I live in Bham, if you want to team up at a management area just let me know. I don't have a truck, so my access is very limited when I'm by myself.

I'm here guys with an itchy trigger finger! I'll be good with any name.

I'll be hunting in Coosa County mainly with a trip or two in Washington County.

Checking in from Tuscaloosa. The name doesn't matter to me but I like 3 toe'd joes the best. Just so you all know we are competing for second place or more like 3rd. Lol South Bama, are you the grad student who made a thread a little while back about hunting management area?

I've heard the winning team is a tough one to beat. Maybe we can luck up and give them a run for their money!

I'll share a video to scratch everyone's itch alittle bit!

Yep, that's me. And yeah I realize we are kind of competing for third or something like that.

If you haven't already, check in so we will be reassured that everyone is going to participate. I don't foresee anyone in this group not contributing because I am pretty sure I have seen all of your names in one turkey thread or another.

Is anyone getting out Saturday? I'll be taking a young friend of mine and maybe Sunday before church.

I'll be out of town the first week or two of season unfortunately, but may get to hunt opening day afternoon and the next morning before class, but not sure yet. Hoping to get on a bird early in the year.

Check management area rules. I'm pretty sure you can hunt turkeys after 1 on most if not all management areas. National forest is a different story.

I'll be taking one of my nephews this weekend. I'm hoping the area we're planning to hunt won't be under water. I had to bribe my youngest nephew with a turkey hunt if he got good grades. So far he's doing his part so I'm hoping I can do my part and get him his first turkey.

I went and checked my camera's yesterday. I seem to have went down one gobbler that was in a group of turkeys. Still got the strutter in the group but the one I lost looked to have a longer beard and better spurs. Hopefully I can figure out where he went.

Found a little private land to hunt closer than management areas, so I'll hunt this as much as I can. Hoping to get a trip to Barbour County Easter Week.

Yea the weather has me concerned as well but if it will break in the evening I think I may have one nailed down, especially if it is going to be wet for two days in a row.

I'm hoping it moves out early on saturday also. The rain might help us on saturday. My older brother is in a 5600 acre club and there will be a few other youth hunters out but with the rain they might hold off til sunday. Guess we will see.
