I called up and kilt my first turkey out there, but that was over 20 years ago. I called up 4 gobblers that morning. It use to be slap covered up with turkeys. Back then it wasn't uncommon to hear 7-10 birds gobbling on any given morning. yea it's definitely not like that now. There are some birds there, but you gotta find them on your own. And don't just assume that if a truck is parked in an area that the hunter has birds there. He may, but it's just as likely that he's trying to find some birds as well....
