I have a 40 horse tractor and a 22 ft dovetail trailer. My ramps are the slide out kind that just hang on the lip of the trailer. When I load and unload my tractor, the ramps pop up when the rear tires get to the end of them and sometimes they come back down in the right spot and sometimes they don't.
My questions is - what is the simple solution to this that I am missing? I've thought about all of the fixes that involve drilling or welding, just thinking there has to be something simpler that I'm missing.
