I hunt in the southern zone and the one thing that I think they should amend is that no doe should be taken during Feb. Several of the doe have been bred or are being bred during Feb and I just think would be a good idea. Most guys that are hunting hard in Feb arent looking to harvest a big fat doe anyways. I'm primarily a doe hunter, and cannot see any fault in Al's logic, here. If the season extension is to allow people to hunt the rut, it should be limited to bucks only.
