Ya'll aren't ever gonna change Jat50, based on what I've seen of his posts, he's a liberal and gonna like Trump for that very reason. The same reason you're seeing so many liberal leaning areas going big for Trump.
The fact that he hates the one person who's been staunchly conservative his entire life says volumes.
Nobody is changing anyones mind. Bottom line is if you aren't comfortable with Trump, stay home in November if he is the nominee. It's not gonna matter who gets in office between Trump/Hillary/Sanders. Nope, not one bit.
It's going to take four more years of idiocy to get Republicans to forget about being republican and start being conservative.

And I don't hate Cruz at all, in fact he was my number two until I really saw how inept he was the past few weeks and some of the crony deals he has pushed for. I'm voting for Trump and I'm not stupid enough to think he is going to do all he says he is going to do. I just find it idiotic for people to believe Cruz is going to do all he claims. He screwed the pooch on hiring the two most important people in a campaign yet people think he can get all the right pieces in place to save the country.

BB My problem with Trump is that less than 2 years ago he held the exact same position's on every issue that Hillary holds and I can not get past the feeling that Trump is just saying what ever he has to to get elected...I mean he just said last week that he supports the insurance mandate and a single payer system just like they have in England....
I have not bashed anyone nor will I. Just trying to do what I think is right.. He saw $$$ as a business man, would you not do the same? Trump

With all the promises that trump has made so far and how he is going to stand up for us, if he can't handle being qeustioned by Meagan Kelly, how is he going to handle clinton or a foreign leader? Just read that trump will be skipping another debate hosted by Kelly. Yeah he's really a tough one that trump.

Good point JAT , appointing the right people to get the job done is important , I've been on the fence over CRUZ and trump this whole election. Rick Tyler is a moron and for CRUZ to put someone lacking the judgment to make sound decisions over his campaign says a lot. I want a conservative candidate, but I also want someone who can get it done . I don't think trump is a full blown liberal . I'm just skeptical about the guy, if I knew he wouldn't switch his Stance at the drop of a hat and hold true to what he says now . I could vote for him . I may just sit out in the primary . I just dont see a good option really. CRUZ will not be able to get it done . Rubio will cut deals with the democrats and trump might just do the same . One day trump is saying the right things , the next he has flip flopped.

I am sure all the Trump haters will say I am rationalizing whatever he does or making excuses but doing a debate with Megan Kelley involved is a lose lose situation for trump and he has the good sense to know that. If he let's her jab at him then he is weak, if he jabs at her he is a bully picking on a woman. If he handles it perfectly it's at best a draw. I want a leader who recognizes how to negotiate from strength. If putin, or kim Jong un, or whoever want to meet with the president what good does it do the US if there is nothing to be gained? When there is something to talk about and they want to get serious and deal then meet, otherwise it's a waste of time and you run the risk of looking weak. You know why he can choose to show up at the debate or not? Because the Republican party is not pulling his strings and threatening to cut off his support like they would anyone else. Every one of them are under the thumb of the party. The same party that hasnt done a damn thing with the majority in both houses of congress for the past 2 years. Why do we even know who the moderators are at these debates? Why don't they bring in one fair even handed man or woman and ask them questions? Because they have egos as big as the candidates and it's all a show for themselves instead of an actual debate. About the only thing of interest I have seen at any of these debates was Christie making rubio look like a complete idiot. It's too bad Christie would walk all over the constitution if he thought the government needed it or he would have made a decent candidate.
