What came first? The chicken or the egg? My convention is he's there because the party pushed weak nominees that said one thing but whose track records said another. Pretty much the same thing that just happened when Republicans just won the house and Senate based on their claim they would fight Obama. Instead they just gave Obama a budget that Harry Reid said he wouldn't have had the balls to ask for if the Democrats controlled both houses. That's why Republicans lose. Not because of Republicans staying home but because the party has lied to their voters and abandoned them. A vote against them is not a vote for the other side. It's a vote against the continued fleecing of average Americans by both parties. Trump isn't the right candidate to change that but I recognize that he is a product of that frustration. That's the parties fault, not the fault of voters who stayed home or voted third party.
