IMO our choice is and has always been Trump or Rubio/Bush. It just took a while for everything to work its way out, and it is Rubio because Trump squished Bush. Cruz did NOT kick Bush's ass, that was 100% Trump.
We either have: Rubio, Hillary, or Trump
The only one of those three that will do anything to help this country and not themselves is Trump. IMO.
This is NOT a choice between Trump and Cruz. Cruz is out. He is NOT likable enough to win this thing. He is also in the exact same "birther" fight as Obama and the media will pile on him in October like you have never seen. He can't overcome the media like Trump can. He just doesn't have the swagger.
To me the people on this site continually trying to tear down Trump are doing everything that they can to put Hillary in the white house and possibly Obama on the supreme court. That will destroy this country forever. If Trump sucks we can correct that next election. If Hillary wins we are DONE. If Hillary wins our country will be no more. Bye, bye 2nd amendment, abortions will be legal until the baby is crying, the internet will be taxes, there will be no free speech on the internet.
I am not in love with Trump, not be a long shot, but I know that he is better for this country than Rubio or Hillary.
Everyone climbing on their soap box, patting themselves on the back, claiming that they are going to write in Cruz are too dumb to realize that they are voting to destroy this country FOREVER. Or until we can get more votes on the supreme court with a conservative in the white house. That may never happen again with the problems that our country will face with Hillary in charge.
You guys can climb up on your little mountain and blast me, but I can swallow my pride and do what I think is best considering my circumstances. I would like for this country to still be here one day when I have a grand kid. This is bigger than me.

BB My problem with Trump is that less than 2 years ago he held the exact same position's on every issue that Hillary holds and I can not get past the feeling that Trump is just saying what ever he has to to get elected...I mean he just said last week that he supports the insurance mandate and a single payer system just like they have in England....
I have not bashed anyone nor will I. Just trying to do what I think is right..

I'm OK with Trump or Rubio, but don't act like Trump won't enrich himself beyond his wildest dreams with the presidency. All 3 viable candidate's goals are the same. Enrich themselves at the expense of the country.
Anyone but Hildebeast though.

It's time to be smart and not right. Trump may not be right but it's smarter than a Clinton. That's the way I feel about it.

I do admit some on the other side have too but there isn't any thing to be gained from stooping to their level. I can't stand Rubio but I'd vote for him over a life long liberal like Trump.

Winner. I am not a Trump supporter per se, but he will get my vote if he's the Republican nominee. I don't care what anyone says, if you write in a vote for someone other than the nominee, you are fracturing the party and you might as well cast it for Hillary. You think the liberals will be writing in Mickey Mouse candidates on their ballot instead of the Democratic nominee?

If yall really think Trump is running for the country and not to help himself I don't know what to say. That's crazy, he is in it for the Donald 100%
No way he can beat Hillary, he supports her!
He will be destroyed by Hillary, he will also destroy the country, we can't correct it next time around he will have done a horrible job and a democrat will be set up to win easily.
I just don't understand why so many can't see what is happening

I'm not a Trump basher. I just think he is not the best antidote for the illness that maligns our country.

I can not get past the feeling that Trump is just saying what ever he has to to get elected. They all do this. All of them. Always have, always will. Always.

[video:youtube] https://youtu.be/rcUCLwWCihE[/video] For those who haven't seen it or think Trump is a viable option, which of these positions are any different than Hillary's? Just this past week Trump said he is for the individual mandate in Obamacare and just last year he supported Al Sharpton. I haven't seen a single person address those issues. They'd call anyone else a treasonous, piece of crap that did those things or held the views Donald held for 60+ years. The truth is out there on Donald the same way it was on Obama and it's being ignored the same way , though not by nearly as many people.

I just don't understand why so many can't see what is happening I don't agree with this and here's why: do you understand that as a billionaire, it would be much easier to NOT be the president? I've heard people say he's in it for his ego. Perhaps there is some merit to that. However, most folks with big egos aren't willing to take a new job that would be a significant pay cut and hand the companies they built over to their underlings while they spend 4 years doing something else. I don't buy it. It would be much easier for a billionaire to sit in his office and buy the support of whomever is in charge instead of running for President. Lastly, I think he's getting some heat about being a closet liberal. I've read some of his past quotes and I'm not being a Trump apologist but I don't think the majority of those criticizing him are taking into account the political climate in which he lived. He was a NY city businessman. NY is probably the most liberal state in the union next to California. Hell, they've been run by Bloomberg for years and now have that idiot DeBlasio in office. It makes perfect sense to me that if you want to operate in NY, you have to at least give the appearance that you're on their side. Some will continue to believe he's a liberal and there's nothing that can be said to dissuade you. All I'll say is if he is a true liberal, it's hard to understand why he'd be taking such a conservative view on a topic like immigration.

Trump supporters say they want everyone to quit bashing him but they just eat it up when he bashes others. They want us to quit calling him a liar but they love it when he calls others liars. You want Donald to yell,, scream and belittle people because you like that. You just don't like it when anyone but Donald plays by those rules. Hypocrite much?

... I can't stand Rubio but I'd vote for him over a life long liberal like Trump. Oh, this is great stuff here...so, you will vote for the establishment pick and the biggest Rino of the bunch. Isn't that the thing you said you are sick of doing in the past? Why not continue with writing in Cruz?

I'm trying very hard to find a viable reason to vote for Rubio if he is the nominee. It seems possible that he might have SOME qualities that aren't a complete contradiction to my faith. Trump has zero. He's just a pure liberal that has espoused every liberal position there is within the last 5 years. I won't ignore that the way Obama voters ignored his past.

You guys that think Trump, is any different than Hillary, are just funny.

I don't cuss a lot, but every time I hear someone defend Trump I can't help but say damn, just damn. I don't know what else to say. 8 years ago we went full retard into Socialism because of no better reason than people wanted a black POTUS, and now those on the other side sincerely believe (I mean with enthusiasm and hope like nothing I've ever seen) that Donald Freakin' Trump is the answer. Damn. My stars, this has to be a joke, please tell me I'm having a nightmare.
This once great and proud nation, has truly fallen to this. Damn, it's happening. Idiocracy is really happening. We finally hit that place in our history where the lowest common denominators outnumber the wise and mature. I can't even find a remnant of Libertarian minded conservatives today. It's all ideologue votership, it's like WWE and Nascar had babies, and now we have to choose to be ruled by them, or else go full retard double-down into Marxism. That my grandfathers fought and risked their lives for this #$%@$% just pisses me off!!!!!!!!
I've reached the point where I'm just bored with it, too angry to care anymore. I just want out. Our forefathers went to war to form this country over FAR LESS than this idiotic horsecrap we exalt today. When I saw that S. Carolina picked Trump my heart bottomed out. It affirmed to me that it's over. I really am the minority and there's never any hope again that we'll elect a constitutionalist. I'm willing to bet that 80% of our high school graduates do not even know such a thing as the Constitution even exists. Marco Rubio is the one guy on that stage that is 101% constitutionalist, and yet even some of the bolder conservatives on this board would find fault with him. Damn. Just damn.
