Dad and I went last week and struggled in the morning. The water is really down. We got all our bites around 10 with a shad rap and 1/4 black back rattle trap slow rolled..I mean sloooowwww around treadwell island close to the dam

Week before last we caught about 14 pounds on Shad Raps, couldn't get a bite on anything plastic/slow. I tried and tried to make them eat a C-rig centipede...nada. But I've heard ten dozen stories since then of fish being caught all which a ways. Heck, as warm as it's trending toward this weekend, I'd try a few untypical things. 2nd week of February last year we caught two big spots on a Sammy.

We were on the edge of Eternia, when the power of Greyskull began to take hold.

Widgeon, I consider them places in between points that are close together, is where I most often find them, with the fluctuation of the water, boat traffic, and the running of current pretty consistently, it seems to make very sandy bowls between points and the shad pool up in these areas, quality of spots aren't always that great sometimes you will be surprised but you can usually catch numbers when the bait is present

Between points you'll find a ditch, drain, or creek channel. Only bowls I'm aware of on Logan or at the end of boat ramps.

Coosa spots have been eating!

I was mainly referring to the area between main points and secondary points on the same bank

Bowl to me is an indention in a bank, just not a big pocket or creek just a dent along a river bank.
