We finally got my dad's foot stone the other day. We ordered it a year and a half ago, but due to some mix up, the order did not get processed. Then it was the usual federal guberment red tape. Anyway, I got it set today and added some dirt to level his grave and my maw-maw's grave. Btw, that 4 or 5 inch granite slab is heavier than it looks. Anyway, I got it done.

Can I ask what kind of red tape??? The reason I ask is my parents have an old cemetery on their property. 1800's with brick wall around it. We have kicked around the idea of building onto that wall and that's where we will be buried. Don't know if something you went through would apply to us.

I know he would be proud ! My Dad asked for us to order his at his death in 2000. My Dad was always proud of his service , I bet your was too !
