No way it's filled before election. It's not that quick of a process
What it will do, is get people who weren't going to vote out to vote.

He was a great man from all I've heard and read Wanna Bet? Sure. Pre O'Connor 1981 it was a quicker process. (Which still took months) Very long drawn out process now, they spend weeks alone being interviewed by the senate judiciary committee. After the whole selection, nomination process. Then full senate approval. Maybe I'm just not the conspiracy theorist others might be, I don't think it's possible. Not for Obama, or Bush, or anyone. Checks and balances and such Respectfully, i hope and wish and pray you are right. Unfortunately I think you are being naive.
