+1, got a pair over 10 y.o. & still going Even the uninsulated Muck boots are hot. That neoprene holds some heat. I don't know how you boys walk a lot in those when the temps warm up.

Dog Tore my snake boots up and the idea of breaking in another pair is about as appealing a getting a fish hook caught in my nutsack.
ideas of a good pair that break in easy?
I may just use gaiters.

Cabela's boas are fine snake boots. I ain't worried about the snake part I just like em cause they're tall and comfortable

I just never cared for snake boots, I have been wearing 16 inch beans for years.
Grandma said...Always keep a gun close at hand, you just never know when you might run across some varmint that needs killing...

I like the Lacrosse on flat ground. You walk right out of them on the hills I usually hunt they are NOT a good mountain boot..... Eh, they work fine for me in the mountains and everywhere else I've ever worn them. Did you wear those things on your mule deer hunt Eagle? Nope, too heavy for long backpacking trips, but for my turkey hunts in the JC Mountains, I do.
