Brother shot at 6:45. All he knows was its a buck. We haven't got to hunt much this year because they've been clear cutting the majority of our lease so it was if its brown its down today lol. I'll update in a little bit.

We live from the powerline this morning. Small bucks are harassing does and it at least keeps the sightings more regular. Deer moved from 8:30am til dark yesterday. Fur lite connected on #2 for the year yesterday. Big fat spike. He's on the adult, good buck rule like everybody else now.

Nothing here in Colbert County is moving. Haven't heard a shot and the roads were filled with hunters this morning.

Shot at and missed one at 7:00. He came through the hardwoods dogging a doe and wouldn't stop for anything. Threw some lead at him as he crossed a small clearing 100 yards out. Got down and found nothing. I could smell where the sticking thing crossed!

I'm going in at 9. I have a decent 8 coming in to a plot around 11:30. I might sit there all day. Depends on the wind.

Someone musta told the deer around here it was the last weekend of the season cause I ain't seen Jack in fields I've been watching deer in the past couple weeks. I'll take anything that's brown with four legs. Also have more dogs running stuff through the woods around me. Saturday morning hunting...
