Answer to the question "NO" he quit, and I suspect he has a history of that. You must be buddies with one of the owners or mods of Aldeer. With all the banning going on around here lately I really can't figure out how you have survived this long with some of the pot stirring posts that you have made. Matt Brock will be missed greatly here and I'd step out on a limb and say that he probably has more character stored up in his little toe than you've got in all of you.

Time out taught him nothing.

Legal Journalism Education Coaching Software Consulting!! I think in every occupation you deal with folks that think they know better than you. It's kind of humorous in my case because they are paying us good money to implement the software but they always want to tell us why we are wrong.

I hate Matt is gone because he was a real asset to us common folk, and he gave us some insight into the state's plans. I thought the thread in the turkey hunting forum was a constructive thread with some good discussion. Although there was some differing opinions, I thought everybody was pretty respectful of one another. I'm not sure what pushed him over the edge in the turkey forum thread, but I hope that it wasn't a comment I made because that was not how I intended it

It may have been my fault. If so I'll take the blame because I was harder on him than anybody in that thread probably. I never said anything directly towards him and I know he is just the field man who has to push what the state is trying to sell but what they are trying to sell is pretty silly. To try to find logic in saying that the state needs to shorten the turkey season to keep hens in winter flocks from accidently getting shot makes my head hurt to even think about. I seriously doubt that was Brock's idea and I certainly didn't mean anything personal towards him by questioning the logic. It kind of reminds me of the GOP just assuming conservatives would vote for Jeb Bush just because they told us he was the best man for the job though.

We didn't discuss what led to him leaving but I get the feeling it was a cumulative thing. You, Preacher nor anyone else in that thread have anything to apologize for. If every discussion were as civil as that one, there would rarely be an issue on this site.

I can't point to another profession of the top of my head where most folks knows more than the professional.
One of the reasons I got out of wildlife management. So then I went to the other field where the lay person knows more than the professional, veterinary medicine. god thats the truth. i hear that from my wife all the time. she is head vet tech at the emergency clinics on acton here in bham. scott
if i hadnt taken up hunting i might have became a juvenile delinquent or worst taken up GOLF

Hate a young man like Matt is gone. I dont post much but do alot of reading, and you guys beat each up pretty bad with discussions. It's getting kinda old. Times have changed for sure. Where is the respect for one another talking civil.
