The wather is pretty nasty here. Only the truly dedicated are out there right now. If things calm down a little bit then I'm going to go out this evening. I'm not that mad at 'em right now though the way those tree are swaying.
Folks that know don't shoot old does........

Deer seem to be moving ahead of the front. Saw 9 out feeding on our way back from Lunch @ 12:15.
I'm wishing I had brought my stuff to work with me today. I'd leave early and go hunting

Here in a ladder stand overlooking a small greenfield in Baldwin co. Thank goodness for wind proof clothing. I must be crazy but kind of fun to tough it out in these conditions occasionally. Glad I don't live up north or work on a deadliest catch crab boat though!

I'm probably going to go out in a minute. I have a camera out to see if the neighbors left any deer, but I'll take a gun just incase an elusive buck is out and about. Any chance there will be rabbits hopping around in the snow? Would't mind blasting a couple of them.

My friends son killed this on my place this afternoon. He was tending a doe.

Deer were moving. I had 6 behind my house. My dad had 8 come in to one of our fields.

Great deer. Congrats to you all. As the owner/shot caller of your place did you make sure the young man let that one legged critter finish planting some seed?
If your decoy doesnt have holes in it, your not letting him get close enough... J.H.
