Had a hell of a time getting to camp this morning dodging tree limbs in the roads. Still can't get all the way to the camp house because of 4' of water over the road. However I saw a pile of deer driving up and one buck had his nose to the ground. Good luck to y'all!

Anybody got any action. I bumped one on a hill near camp but have seen 1 squirrel so far since getting in stand. Cooler air is getting here, maybe they will do a lil something soon.

I took off today because of the weather. I didn't expect all this wind. 9:43 and hadn't seen anything but a 1000 crows. With this wind I don't know if anything will move. I keep hoping to see a little snow start to fall like they are saying may happen. Can't speak for the wind but every time I've hunted when it started snowing, deer started moving like crazy.
You guys riding in a tree I salute you. You are a lot more mad at them than I am. I started out with 2 windows up, 2 Windows down. Since 7:45 I've been 4 Windows down. 20mph gusts are rough even in a shooting house!

A buddy of mine killed a 4pt chasing a doe on perdido wma this morning. Also heard of another 4pt and a 180lb 7pt being killed there too.
