I have a very hard time going to a restaurant for a steak because I know what they cost.I don't go out for steak very often.I would rather enjoy mine at home and go out to eat for other things. My thoughts exactly. I'm thinking i've heard that it cost $100 for a meal with your wife at Ruth Chris. To me, thats ridiculous. My neighbor has cows and cuts up his own beef and ages them for 21 days. I talked to him about buying some thick ribeyes from him and cooking them myself. It isn't much cheaper to cook at home. The steaks my wife buys for us to grill are $20/ea. Keen's in NYC was about as good as I've had. I got the "legendary" Mutton, but I tried the steak off of my wifes plate.
