I've seen a few threads on food and restaurants lately. Who has the best steak? My favorite is Ruth's Chris.

The best in Birmingahm is Ruth Chris here days. Not many great steak houses here. Michaels is pretty good. Flemings is good
My favorites are The Palm in Atlanta ( or any of their locations). Sparks in New York, Peter Lugar New York, Gene and Georgetti, Mortons and Harry Carry's in Chicago.
Big Mikes in Thomasville is pretty damn good.

My back yard green egg. Bone in ribeye about 1.5" and age them a week. Marinade in pineapple juice, a homemade teriyaki and some dales on cook day. Then 3-4 mins on each side with loaded bake potato and Miller lite.

Rogersville food valu butcher. Then my weber kettle grill with some southern flavor or gastons seasoning. No restraunt can come near that.

The Peddler in Gatlinburg is up there with the best. Ruth's Chris would run a close second.

The red barn in Demopolis! I had a filet the other day there that I literally could cut with my fork! I have eaten at piles of places between tuscaloosa and oba and you will be hard pressed to beat the steaks at red barn.. jmo
