After me and my dad got done still hunting we saw some dog runners thought about getting with them and makeing a drive instead we went and walked a cut over to see a different way to hunt a buck i knew was in the area and jumped this deer!! 30.06 slowed him down enough for me to run over the hill and finish him off with the .243! He may have been the man of the area but there has been another deer moved in his territory and he has a huge foot. No evidence of him being a big deer tho!!

Good buck! What happened to his nose? Running trough cut over and that 30.06 dad lead him wrong.. Other shots was straight in the ass and shoulder... He was still alive in the water after i went over hill shot him with 243 in the side and then twice in the neck.. Tough ole deer.. that first neck bone shot shatered his neck bone he was still trying to go so i put another one in him .. But he definatly wasnt going far after that first shot in the rear end with that 30.06.. he wasnt running towards the truck tho i had to stop him haha
