I'm so sick and tired of spending my hard earned money on casual long sleeve shirts or T-shirts that are only good for about 4-5 wearings.
I prefer nice casual cotton shirts for work or just casual wear. Love flannel shirts when it is cold. I buy a mixture of store brand and name brand shirts whenever on a good sale. Some of the name brands are the worst...Columbia, Chaps, etc...
About the only good shirts I've found are the Belk Saddlebred no iron/cotton-poly blend very thin shirts...wash and wear and will last a couple years. These are mor summer time shirts, not cold or cool weather. I have some polyester or nylon Columbia fishing shirts that I really like, but sometimes I just want to wear a cotton shirt other than a dress shirt.
Most of today's shirts really suck. Lots of T-shirts do too. I hate it when...
1. The fabric draws up after a couple washes so much so that now the sleeves are more than an inch too short or the shirt tales will not stay tucked in when you reach over your head.
2. The front button placket (fabric section where the button holes are) decides to fold and wrinkle and it takes much work ironing and starching for it to stay looking right.
3. The collar starts to sag and fold over similar to the button placket.
4. Buttons come off very easy these days.
I'm not talking dress shirts....most dress shirts are made of better quality cotton and don't shrink or fold over at the placket or collar.
Rant over.

"Neither the wisest constitution nor the wisest laws will secure the liberty and happiness of a people whose manners are universally corrupt. Samuel Adams
