It was right at 4 lbs. & 18 er 19" long. Was a long time ago, probably around '80 to '82. Just a kid & didn't even know what it was when I caught it
. Actually, it's still to this date the only Crappie I've ever caught. Caught it in a pond, top water, at night, on a large Jitter Bug of all things. Go figure.
I'd be curious to know just what the record was back in '80 or '82 though, not that it'd matter now. :rolleyes:
