This past weekend was a bust for me. I saw a small 6 pt, but passed on him hoping for something better. Turned out to be the only buck I saw.
Weather/conditions were terrible until it was time to come home on Sunday...then perfect.
I'm done, unless I can pick one off on my small tract here close to the house.

Guys - as much as it might seem like it - BUKFEVR92 and I haven't fallen off the face of the earth. With all the rain - it has been a terrible season for us being able to get onto the property due to flooding and soft ground (property owner doesn't want the land tracked up with truck or ATV). We do hunt the Southern Zone, so we have till Feb 10th. BUKFEVR92 killed a doe this weekend and hopefully this upcoming weekend, we'll be hunting Friday afternoon, Saturday afternoon, and Sunday afternoon - so I am planning on us putting some more points on the board.
We are seeing deer and hopefully will deliver before the end of the season.

Good to hear! Tell buckfever92 to post up a pic of his doe! I wish we had that extra 10 days.... I've really just began to start seeing deer good in Lamar country where I hunt... I hope you guys wear them out this weekend!!!

Shot a doe the other day. Pics coming. Deer movement has been getting really good and have been seeing more bucks lately. Hopefully this weekend me or my dad(Hunting-231) will get one. We also get the extended season in February.
