Bottom line, he had longstanding commitments to be in New Hampshire and he knew the bill wasn't going to pass. The vote failed by 7 votes, so what good would it have done for him to be there? He cosponsored the bill which shows his support of auditing the fed. I'm as big a Cruz supporter as anyone on this site but that isn't a good excuse. He should have been there, bottom line. He's still the best choice by far but he needs to stand behind the bills that he has sponsored.

So, if I already know how the election is going to turn out, I don't need to vote? One vote doesn't matter? Is his job to show up to vote or campaign? I hope you guys don't have to learn the hard way he is just another politician. Maybe the best choice of all the politicians running but still a politician no less.

Had a good friend decide to be gay at age of 19. Been friends with him for years before and after, he finally had a change of heart and is no longer living that lifestyle. He made the choice just like we do. Gay agenda is that every tv show/commercial has a gay couple in it, people are portrayed to be heroes because they are gay, etc etc.
I have to call complete bs on that one right there. There is some smelly stuff in there somewhere. No one decides to be gay. A person may decide to hide it because the culture in the place they live is not at all understanding, so they can earn a living and not be treated like absolute crap, etc. but they are either gay or not. No decision process there. When, exactly, did you decide to be straight?

Bernie Sanders is not a communist. He is a centrist socialist. At the core of the speech was Sanderss argument that his version of democratic socialism is a twenty-first century updating of Franklin Roosevelts New Deal. As Sanders pointed out, all of the elements of the New Deal that most Americans take for granted today social security, minimum-wage laws, collective bargaining were initially condemned as socialism. Sanders could certainly do worse in terms of inspiration than Roosevelt, who, when asked about business opposition to the New Deal, answered, I welcome their hatred.
