Fear and hate mongering like many far right are doing does nothing positive for this country it just makes other countries hate us even more. Because we look like a bunch of dumb racist and sexist rednecks. Which other country WOULDN'T like to turn their cultural clock back about 40 years right now? The fact is, the only reason we're not already a third world country is because of the "fear mongerers" who wouldn't allow a cultural free-for-all. I wouldn't give a rats ass what another country thought about us in the world. Cut off their welfare, because they all get it, and find out what they really think.

Not caring what race, sex, religion or sexual preferance its about the issues. Not how said person lives their life in the privacy of their own home. It has been my experience in life that what a person does in their private life always bleeds over into their public life. A man who would lie to his wife would definitely lie to his employer.

It means rather than come here and integrate into the American culture and WANT to be an American, some come here and want to exist separately. Look at what it has done to France. Competing cultures will eventually come to blows.

I can agree with that as well but still.... America doesnt have one single culture. You have white culture, black, jewish, muslim, christian etc. So I dont think that because you may be from another coutnry that you have to act like all white southern christians etc. I takes all kinds to make this country. I do think each culture has to be tolerant of the other though, kinda like you said (competing). We are all one but different
