Man y'all make me jealous. I wish I had more acreage, closer to home, so I could set more traps.

Congrats on all the catches! Cool double Jon. 1 coon and 1 possum for us. No beavers or otters.

Good job Hank, I had a call today about a beaver job. I'm gonna go check it out Friday. Keep up the good work y'all.

I got my beaver for today after all! Lol! Amanda checked the sets we made today coming home from hunting and had one already. First one in the TS-85's. I didn't take a pic of him in the trap but it had a good hold on him.

Hind leg. I had the traps set pretty deep because we broke the dam on this pond and I was estimating the water drop.

Good job Hank, I used to set for a hind foot catch but now I set more for a front foot catch. Front foot catch don't take as deep of water to drown them in.

Started the morning off right with a TS-85 double. All three out of these 2 traps in 16 hours! Off to check more traps and set another lake!

Nice catches Hank and Jon. Mine were empty again, so I pulled them to move to another place.
Hank, are you skinning those beavers? I know they are not worth much right now.

Nice catches. Got 2 red fox on camera in my back yard the last couple nights, so time to make a couple sets after work.

Joe that's a cool pic with the kid waving! It's been a long day here and I actually just got to see the live trap under the wood.
Ron those egg suckers will really put a dent in your ground nesting bird population. Everybody loves to see a big coyote in a trap but from a turkey hunters point of view every possum and coon I catch I'm just as happy!
I walked out in my yard this afternoon and there was a covey of quail not 20 yards from my front door. On my 40 acres I've got about 2.5 acres of chufas and the turkeys have every inch of them scratched up. From a place that 5 years ago you couldn't find a turkey or quail to what I have today I'm proud. People say you can't make a difference on small acreages and I say I've made a difference. I've got the results here daily!

Hank do you save the castor and oil sacks from the beaver? What about the tails?

I don't Jon. I've saved castor before and got burnt on the deal with a lure maker. I wish there was more ways to make trapping pay but down here where our fur is cheap and buyers are few and far between it's tough.
