Exactly. The reality is NOTHING good is going to happen with Obama in office. Doesn't matter how anyone votes. He's not signing anything good and there aren't enough votes to override anything.

So I don't give a crap he missed the vote. I'd like to know the details though. Was it a scheduled vote or something that was suddenly introduced in a political play?

In the big scheme of things, I'm better with Cruz missing a vote than Trump voting for Obama the first go around and supporting the Clintons until it was beneficial not to.

To me this issue is a small thing and if it's the best Cruz's enemies can come up with, then that's a good thing.

It would probably just end up being a formality anyway. Every time they form some kind of investigative committee, it pretty much ends up with little to no results. Look at the Benghazi committee. So are you now going to vote for Bernie? I think Cruz is still the best choice.

Bernie and Rand are the only two people that will truly help the middle class. Although their economic and tax plans are very different they are very similar socially and on other issues. If one of them doesnt become president nothing will change. It will be the same as if Bush or Obama are in office still. I wish folks would stop voting Republican and Democrat and vote for the person. Vote on the issues that the president truly has control over. The president can only do so much They dont have the power to change tax codes and build damn walls.
Reduce the number of people in prison because of marijuanna and minor drug offenses, and stop trying to go to war with every country in the middle east. Then our economy will be so much better. they need to quit worrying about gay marriage and building a damn wall. Im telling yall we are royally screwed if bernie or rand dont win. Because it will either be trump hillary or cruz and thats scary as schit!!

One thing for sure is that a Clinton or Sanders win will be a Coup de grâce for this country.

What is scary is that people would actually vote for a socialist/communist in the USA. Socialism has failed everywhere it has been tried. What makes you think another attempt would help the middle class?

Also bwood, voting for Cruz because of the person not the R beside his name. I imagine most others here are voting for Cruz or Trump for who they are not what party the claim to represent.

I agree he has socialistic ideas but when voting for president yo have to understand that they can only do so much. I disagree saying hes a communist though if you havent i highly suggest reading up on bernie other than just his economic views. I agree I think free college will never work and disagree with increasing minimum wage to $15 an hour. But his views on social and foreign issues is what makes me like him and rand. The president doesnt have the power to make college free or increase minimum wage. That would have to be voted on in house and senate which is republican majority and would never pass. Their isnt a single person running that anyone could agree with everything they support its the lesser of the evils. Would you rather have trump going against hillary and losing because hillary would smoke trump in a general election. It wouldnt even be close. Voting on a president because of his tax plan and economic strategies and ignoring the social/foreign affairs aspect is a waste of time in my opinion because they dont have the power to change those things. But they can determine when and when not to go to war

Everything about what you said is scary. Without a wall we are in trouble. Too many wackos want to kill us. With the gay agenda pushed everywhere we are destroying the family unit which will cause complete disfunction through out the country eventually.

I don't hate anyone for their way of life but refuse to accept it as normal and show it to my kids as okay when it is not. I hope they all have a change of heart one day.

I am not convinced Hillary won't be in jail by convention time. I am also not convinced that she can beat Trump by a narrow margin. I ain't even convinced she can beat Sanders. Who sounds more like Ronald Reagan? Trump, Cruz, Hildabeast or Bernie? I ain't sure who I will vote for yet but it won't be Bernie or that Clintab***h!

Do you really think it will help the middle class if the President (a President Sanders)taxes the hell out of my boss and yours? For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. See Newton's third law. Capitalism and a military that is second to none are what propelled this country far ahead of the rest of the world. No other country has done more to lift people OUT of poverty. What Utopian society would you argue is superior? Communistic China? Soviet Russia? Cuba? When people are found in a raft floating in the sea, what country do you think they say they are trying to get to? HINT-It's none of the previous three I just listed.

Had a good friend decide to be gay at age of 19. Been friends with him for years before and after, he finally had a change of heart and is no longer living that lifestyle. He made the choice just like we do. Gay agenda is that every tv show/commercial has a gay couple in it, people are portrayed to be heroes because they are gay, etc etc.

Here's the answer straight from Cruz. Bottom line, he had longstanding commitments to be in New Hampshire and he knew the bill wasn't going to pass. The vote failed by 7 votes, so what good would it have done for him to be there? He cosponsored the bill which shows his support of auditing the fed.
