The M85 Grey Wolf definitely has my attention. I really like the way that rifle looks. The most important thing is consistent accuracy and i am very picky in that regard. There's just nothing like having 1 hole groups.

The only thing that has been shot in it was Winchester Silvertips. Accuracy was around an inch. Haven't had a chance to load for it yet, but I know it can get much better.

I have an older Sako AV (?) .270. Says imported by Interarms (?) on the barrel. It has a beautiful blonde colored non shiny stock with a cross bolt or pin, whatever they call it.

It doesn't have a model number listed on it anywhere. What model is that? I don't believe it's a "light" of any sort. Nice heavy feel to the gun, but no fluted barrel or other tricks.

Is there somewhere that has Sako history and would tell me more about this gun?

My dad got an A7 Big Game in 308 this year and it is one sweet rifle. Consistent three shot 1/2" groups at 100 yards with Barnes 150 TTSX. You can get a silver aluminum bolt shroud to replace the black plastic one for around $50

Sako Arms makes some really nice rifles. Tikka is their more affordable line and I've owned a 243 and 308, both tack drivers. Can't go wrong with either Sako or Tikka

I don't want to pass quietly into the night. I want to slide in sideways kickin and screamin

Yep. A tikka is a Toyota and a Sako is a Lexus.
