Walkin in .75 miles. It may be 18 degrees but I have had to stop 2 times because I have been sweating.
Been to this spot 6 times. Seen deer 5 of the 6.

Wish I was in the stand this morning. Good hard frost clear sky's and 20 degrees is a perfect day for where I hunt. Hope y'all kill some big ones!! Roll tide!!

Jumped one headed in this morning. Was walking down the trail in a pine thicket and was freshening up a scrape and turned around and her two eyes were staring me down from about 15 yards. In TNF in Bibb co.

22, slight north wind, clear frosty morning mid January in Alabama! Not many other places I'd like to be. Thank you lord for a beautiful morning! They should be on their feet this morn. My papa jack used to always say, "deer don't like a frost on their back."

In a ladder stand overlooking a small greenfield where I killed an eight point last year. Hoping history repeats itself. The mile ride in the golf cart was invigorating to say the least. Colder than my mother-in- law's kiss.

This is one of those good mornings to get in the stand around 7:30-8:00....I always see deer movement light up once the heavy frost burns off on these hard freeze mornings.
Folks that know don't shoot old does........

Decided I'd come in a little late this morning just got settled in some thinned out Pines where 3 roads meet... Seen a lot of deer at this spot and first time sitting it all year hopefully they will get on their feet

Just squirrels & birds but minor feed 730-830. Major starts about 1. App rates today best for hunting. Fingers crossed.
