By far Best facilities and nicest people I've ever found. Great processing too.

^^^This. Just used them for the first time. I dropped off meat from my two deer with them Monday after opening weekend and it was ready Tuesday of this week. I've only had the cooked jerky so far and it's excellent. $105 got me 32.5 lbs of ground meat and cube steak, 8 lbs uncooked sausage, and 1 lb of cooked jerky. Very friendly folks. I added them to the map above.

I took my daughters deer to grants on 11/25. Still not ready. Not very impressed!

Wanted to give a positive review of Central Alabama Deer Processing in Sardis/Selma. I had used Nichol's in Selma for years until I thought the quality was declining. I started processing my own, but there are times I don't have time to do it. I decided to use Central Alabama as it's fairly convenient to where I hunt. When I dropped a deer off and told him I was a first time customer he graciously showed me around the place and gave me some samples of his summer sausage and snack sticks. I was very impressed with the cleanliness and neatness of the place. Was especially pleased that all the cube steak and loins were packaged in meat trays and vacuum sealed with printed labels of the cut and weight. Cooked some of the burger the other night in the skillet and it was neither bloody nor gamey tasting. I will definitely use them again.

Well, I can NOT recommend Terry's Meat Processing in Blountsville. After hours drop off, but only 7-4 p/u during the week. Make sure you bring enough ice so it can sit around in your cooler for 3-4 days, until they get around to it, and Lord help you if you have a primo cooler that'll freeze meat, because they'll make sure to tear open the bags and dump ice all over your venison, so it can get nice and freezer burned before processing. If you enjoy picking up your cooler with melt water and blood in it, after being chunked outside in the gravel, to spend two weeks in the sun, then having to clean it out, before putting your meat in it, to carry home, all while being told how awesome they do things and coming away with the impression that it's a privelege to purchase processed meat from them, between 7-4, M-F.

Just got the meat back today. I will try to update when I've eaten some. His address is 7175 HWY 144, Ragland, AL. Access is on Hickory Road.

He charged $55 and prefers to gut it himself.

Review for 2 around the Oakman/Parrish and Dora/Jasper area.

One is Bottoms up deer processing between Parrish and Oakman. 205-617-8607 Maybe 10 minutes from the Jacks in Parrish on 269.
New processor, clean facility, no vacuum sealing but packing and cleanliness was great. $65 whole deer un gutted. Facility is at the guys residence so late drop off was no problem.

Next is Argo deer processing on hwy 78 between dora and Jasper right up from the old Bama dragstrip. 205-255-0021 Closes at 8pm. Packaging was top notch, Everything vacuum sealed , labeled and clean. $70 un gutted.

His name is Mickey and I think it's called "Good ol Boys". It's on 11 just north of Springville.

I also see that you are from Ashville. There is a guy named Terry in Ragland. I used him last season and it's been fine. $55 and he prefers to gut it.

I dropped one by there we shot in Ashville last weekend, so I'll let you know. That was the only one anywhere nearby I could find and it was still a haul!
