Why the catch pole? Just curious. I move them away from the catch area to dispatch them. It may not make a hill of beans difference but I prefer not to have blood around my trap. If I have my traps set on one side of the road I'll move them 20-30 feet from my sets to dispatch. Makes sense. I hope to maybe try my hand at it in a few places that I turkey hunt. Just trying to soak up all the knowledge I can here.

Thanks jon, not looking to buy one right now but thought it looked like an interesting design. If you get a chance snap a picture of it next time you catch one if you can that shows the handle too. It does look pretty heavy. Good luck.

Yea Charlie this one is a little heavy. I'm gonna cut about a foot out of it and that should lighten it up quite a bit. I'll send you some pictures of it. I'll PM you and get your phone number to text you some pictures.

Looks like another good one. Congrats Jon.
Being at work and seeing catch pics is killing me. Amanda hasn't ran hers yet this morning. If I can make it through this Sunday I should be able to get some out and run them for 3 weeks.

Yea Hank it's tuff trapping and working too. I get up and start checking my traps at 4:00 every morning so I won't be late for work.

I would if I could. I get up at 3:30 and leave for work at 4am so that's not an option for me.
Had our big live trap thrown somehow last night and had a dog set another one off. I've been resetting for her at night.

Lol! Good job on the catches. You haven't got enough credits for your diploma yet. Amanda had 1 coon this morning.

One grey this morning. Had to pull my traps on that property for a few days. Hope it will pick back up next week.

You've had a heck of a good run there Kevin. Are you skinning the greys and cats?

Due to work, I'm sticking them in a bag and freezing them right now. Going to have to make time for a skinning day here soon. Sunday will be the only off day I have over a two week span, so may have to do them then.

Lol! I know exactly where you're coming from. I've got a freezer full of foxes I've gotta skin from my dad and Amanda running mine while I'm at work.
