I hope the deer is found. Really I do. But those deer are very rarely recovered.
Well... Neither are deer that are shot in the arse moving at 200 yds.
Look. I'm not trying to criticize anyone on the actual shot they took. I'm responding to the fact that deer that drop, then get up and leave, are very rarely recovered, and even dog trackers will agree with me. I don't care about your opinion on the shots I take. If I can see a deer, then I can kill it (within a reasonable distance), and I have yet to lose a deer I shot in the rear end. I swear some of you people would criticize a newborn just because they can't argue back.
