Worked out in my favor.   Had a buck grunt off in a holler to my left and then hear what sounded like some chasing. Glance over my shoulder to check the field and he was standing in the very back broadside. Got a good look at him and by the time I got the gun up he was facing me head on. Picked a spot on the brisket and sent a 150 grain TTSX. Bullet went in the brisket and was recovered in the rear ham. He jumped straight up, hopped twice and fell over. This is my first good buck in quite some time,. I believe I'll take him to artistic white tails in the morning. Yes I know the pics are not that great. I was by myself and ran by the house to have my wife snap a couple.
