I have the stick and string this afternoon. I took the cheater stick this morning but went back to the bow this afternoon. I couldn't stand the thought of bamafarmer sticking one before me

sat over our small plot this afternoon, nothing. Did have a nice buck in that plot the 31st around 1am along with a doe; he didn't eat any thing, waited until the doe finished eating and when she left so did he but in a different direction.

I finally got my first Alabama buck. Granted he is no wall hanger by any means but for a public land wma buck i aint gonna complain. Give me a few and i will post pics
I would rather be tried by 12, than carried by 6.

Thanks. Like i said not a monster but will eat good. I had just gotten a pic of the buck on one of my trail cams before i shot him. An 80 yard shot with my trusty .243wssm didnt take a step. Then a two hour drag but it was worth it. Now its time to get a big boy. I have a few on camera that i am after now
