Yea I know of Blue Sand Bed. The Stacey's have been running and hunting there for aslong as I have been around. It borders Forks of the Creek Club in Rabon.

Another thing I have seen this year is how much "green" we still have in the woods. There is still a lot of food for them and they have had tons this year

Yep, I mowed my yard a couple of days ago for the first time ever in December. Bahaia and lots of varieties of weeds are still green and growing.

With the river out of the banks its about to get real good in Baldwin County for anyone hunting high ground near the river. I remember when I was a kid, the river got up at the beginning of Jan. like this. We hunted off of hwy 225. By far the best rut we have ever hunted.

Sounds like Baldwin co is just like Monroe co so far this season. In the last 3 yrs we had 10-12 deer killed by this time. Around 60%bucks and this year we have only 5 killed. The deer are still there, just moving at night with the high temps. We see good deer movement on the few days the weather is right. Our rds and plots are full it tracks after the rains, esp the following mornings after it stops. I hope the weather is alot better for the rest of the season because I start vacation on the 6 jan till 10 feb. I'm ready to get after them.

It's hard to kiss the lips at night that chews your a$$ all day long.
