My personal opinion on crop damage tags is that the farmer does not have rights to the tags unless they are already allowing hunters the opportunity to assist in thinning the herd. A couple around hear won't lease or allow permit hunting yet obtains several dozen crop damage permits each year. That's BS.



i bet i can tell why that is , because of dumb ass hunters that hunted it in the past . they didn't shut gates . to damn lazy to walk a little futher when it was wet around the fields . messed up drains in the fields whith four wheelers . i can go on .

it became easier to just kill the deer out of season than to mess with hunters .


Sounds to me like someone did a possible poor job of interviewing and giving the lease to the right hunters.....
